ANSWER TO THE FIRST QUESTION
I always tell my best friends my principles and I hope that they can respect and take notice on these. As far as I know, everyone has his principles and does not want another person break them. Nowadays, college students skip class from time to time. They also take this thing as a common condition and laugh at someone who do not do that before. In my point of view, I think it a bad behavior to skip class. When I listen to the speech which 龍應台 addressed, she talked about three necessary elements which college students need to have. One of the three elements is knowledge. Through this, I can find that if I always skip classes, how can I get the knowledge, and how the knowledge come from? So, if somebody laugh at me about I never skip class, I will response to them “A successful person will never skip class.”
The other three significant elements are “Critical thinking, action and personality.”All of these are pretty important to us to consider a new direction for rest of our college lives. More reap, more gain. Maybe next time when someone else ask me to skip the class, I will ask them to go to the youtube and read the speech .

  1. The fluency of your article is basically good. You brought out an idea first and then tried to support your idea by addressing what 龍應台said in her speech. I think you get the point of how to persuade others that your idea is good and that makes your writing easy to be understood.
I am not sure if Professor Chen wants me to check the grammatical errors in your articles. I will ask her something about that next time. But I think some expressions might be better to be substituted in the article:
They also take this thing as a common condition----They often take it for granted.
For rest of our college lives----For the rest of our college lives
Moreover, sometimes you forgot to add “s” after the verbs that follow the singular third-person subject. Check it.
So that is all my opinions about your article. I hope they are beneficial for your next writing task.

    Answer to the second question
I will believe everything people tell me at first. Because it really hard for me to doubt what people tell me, not to mention to suspect it. So, when people tell me that working as a part-time waiter in a fancy restaurant will get you a lot of money, I will trust tham first without consideration. However, it would be a little bit silly to trust whatever people tell me. It seems that I need to consider more than one time to decide whether or not I need to trust. Maybe I should think twice before the decision come out.

    Respond to my keypal
I will take all your suggestion, and be better next time.
